Republicans and issues unique to women

Republican Candidates Can Gain Women's Votes by Recognizing Issues 'Unique' to Working Women, Mothers, Opinion Piece Says

The article discussed in the linked abstract is very telling: everyone wants to fight about women's issues such as abortion, but what about the other issues that are unique to women, and working mothers especially? Republicans could gain votes by focusing on those issues, but Dems could too. Why are our lives still so invisible to the power-brokers? Imagine a world where our daily needs actually took center stage.

(This is in no way saying that the "cultural touchstone" issues like abortion are not critical issues, but just to comment on how many other matters affect our daily existence yet go unnoticed in the culture war.)
